About me

Hello, I'm Anna

A psychologist and a trainee in Biosynthesis body psychotherapy. I studied psychology at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University in Brno.

Before opening my own practice I worked as a school psychologist and as a counselling psychologist at Persefona, an organisation supporting people affected by domestic and sexual violence. I am also a certified doula — for several years I accompanied women through birth, pregnancy and the postpartum period. Today I work full time in psychological and therapeutic practice.

I come from Slovakia and have lived in South Moravia for over fourteen years. With my son I am rediscovering the world. When I have time for myself, I paint or read, tend the garden, enjoy slow coffee and explore South Moravia.

Why Biosynthesis

Biosynthesis looks at a person as a whole. Alongside what you are living through right now, there is room for what reaches beyond you and for what has been carried down through generations — what we brought with us from our families. We work with the sensing of the body and its messages, with spirituality, and with reconnecting to the parts of ourselves we once had to shut off.

It is an approach deeply attentive to trauma. It meets a person with trust in their essence, in their growth, and in a capacity for development that never comes to an end.
